When to schedule your newborn's first photoshoot?

For the best experience, consider booking your photoshoot 3 months in advance of your expected due date. The firm newborn photoshoot is scheduled once you have delivered, and the best window for a professional newborn photoshoot is within the first two weeks after birth. This is when your baby is typically at their sleepiest and most flexible, perfect for those adorable curled-up poses.

No need to worry about outfits or props – everything you need will be available at the studio. From soft wraps and blankets to cute hats and headbands, your baby will be beautifully styled for every shot. Your preferences will be taken into account to create images that match your vision.

1. When should newborn pictures be taken?
Newborn photos are best taken within two weeks after baby's birth. However, due to many circumstances I know it is not always possible. My approach is very baby-led, and can take in babies up to 8 weeks old. 

2. Do you provide props and outfit for baby? 
Yes, absolutely! All you need to prepare for is baby's essential items, such as extra milk, pacifier (if using), baby cloth & blanket. I got the rest!

4. Are family members included in the photoshoot?
Most definitely. Family is such an integral part of this important. All immediate family members are included. 

5. Where is your studio located?
My studio is located in Milton, Ontario (nearest intersection is Bronte St. and Louise Saint Laurent Ave.).

6. How much does a newborn photoshoot usually cost?
It all varies. Newborn babies are very delicate and safety is the most important factor. Therefore, always go with a photographer who specializes in new born photoshoot and has had years of experience. An average new born photoshoot from a professional photographer is upwards of $750+ tax for digital images only. Packages with keepsake album or wall arts are generally upwards of $1000. 

7. Is it worthwhile to get keepsakes and print products?
Worth every penny - because you get to actually enjoy them, which, you don't need me to tell you how much joy and good vibes they could bring you!
