1. How do I choose a good family photographer?
So many factors! Here are some to think about :)
Have you checked out his/her portfolio? Is is consistent in style and shows multiple great images from a single session? Does she seem friendly, easy going, and flexible? It is so important to find a photographer that you feel easy and great to work with. Is the pricing easy to understand? (AKA. no hidden fees).
2. Do you provide wardrobe and guidance?
Yes, absolutely! I offer a client wardrobe that achieve the simple and beautiful photos that you see in most of my photos. They are quite giving in terms of size and can fit a wide range of sizes.
3. How much does a family photoshoot cost?
It varies. Price mostly depends on the photographer's experience, the work itself, the experience offered, and what is included in the package. On average, it is upwards of $500 plus tax for a 45min session.
4. Can you recommend some outdoor locations for a family photoshoot?
Of course! Once you book the session, we will go over a client questionnaire to learn more about your vision and goals. From there I will research or recommend some good options for you.

5. Do I have access to unedited photos?
As a photographer, I believe it doesn't serve you well when I give out unedited photos. First of all, they look night and day compared with finished photos, so they really don't represent my work. Secondly, I wouldn't want to or expect you to spend extra time "editing" photos - that's why you are hiring me for :)
6. Can I reschedule my session if something comes up?
Yes of course. Life happens sometimes, and I totally understand. If you need to reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance and you can use the deposit for a future session.
7. Is studio sessions available?
Yes absolutely. Some of my clients prefer a studio look. It is more simple and timeless, and also very much natural and connection-based.
8. What if it rains?
We will keep monitoring the weather leading up to the photoshoot date. If it looks like it will mostly be raining during the time of our photoshoot, we can reschedule to another mutually agreeable date & time. Usually, we don't have to make a decision until the day of since forecast is not always right, and even if it is cloudy or mildly windy, it is still fine for a photoshoot and sometimes produce some of the best photos!
